Here we go again.
Chicken and pork products from a California company which contain broccoli have been found to contain Listeria. This micro-organism can make people sick and for some can be fatal. These products are produced by Taylor Farms Pacific.
So far, there are few details about this latest outbreak. It affects products produced during February of this year and distributed in Arizona, California, Colorado and Wyoming. There have been other recent outbreaks of Listeria in Canada in recent weeks.
Listeria is particularly dangerous for young children, the elderly and those with compromised immune systems. The infection was found by routine testing of the products.
