I made bread yesterday and once again made some modifications to my recipe. Each time I make it, I learn a little more about baking and using yeast. My revised recipe is now on our Recipe Page.
The good thing about making your own bread is that you know exactly what’s in it. It tastes better. It does take some time, but I think it’s worth it. Be sure to freeze at least half of it. Without all the preservatives and dough conditioners, it can go stale a lot faster than store-bought bread.
